HR Manager

to lead our people strategy and drive employee engagement across our business.

About the Role:

As

HR Manager

, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a people strategy that supports our ambitious growth plans. Working closely with the Managing Directors and leadership team, you'll be responsible for:

Leading all areas of HR, from recruitment and onboarding to learning, development, and succession planning. Managing and mentoring the HR team, including a direct report HR Advisor. Driving employee engagement and fostering a culture of inclusion, wellbeing, and continuous improvement. Leading workforce planning and ensuring we have the right people, in the right place, at the right time. Coordinating employee relations and supporting a fair and consistent people management culture. Overseeing payroll operations and ensuring legal compliance in all HR processes.
You'll be based on-site at our Bakery in Harthill, located between Edinburgh and Glasgow. This is a full time (40 hours) role working Monday - Friday however as a family friendly business we are happy to support flexible working, including condensed hours.

What We're Looking For:

A qualified and experienced HR professional with previous experience in an

HR Manager role

. Strong working knowledge of

employment law

and HR best practices. Proven track record of enhancing employee engagement and building strong workplace cultures. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills. Highly organised with strong IT and administrative capabilities (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience in food production or manufacturing sectors is

advantageous

.
