Job Description

As part of our growth, we are looking for enthusiastic, and highly motivated stand-alone HR manager who are passionate about building strong employee and stakeholder relationships and delivering the best practice in human resources management.

The role of the HR Manager will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle, support employees and the managers through planning and coaching, as well as providing support to management throughout.

This role will be based in Huthwaite with occasional travel to Bury St Edmunds. The HR Manager will also support our sister company, Bioscope Tech - Cambridge, with their HR requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities



The role is a varied and exciting role and requires dedication, organisation and ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders. The key responsibilities are

:



Assist the Senior Management Team in strategic planning, ensuring HR strategies are aligned with overall business strategy

Act as a trusted advisor to management and staff on HR matters

Oversee recruitment and selection, including writing and updating Job descriptions, sourcing candidates and supporting managers with interviews

Manage the onboarding process, including pre-employment checks, inductions, training and end of probation evaluations

Maintain and update HR Policies and procedures in compliance with employment laws and best practices.

Administration and maintenance of HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of details

Develop and then manage the company's appraisal system

Improve and maintain the Company's procedures and employment documents whilst ensuring compliance with employment regulations

Supporting payroll function, providing timely and accurate information on pay structures, changes to Contract and personal details, additional payments and deductions

Assist the Senior Management Team with various aspects of employee's performance, such as attendance and sick leave

Assist the Senior Management Team with assessing and implementing training requirements

Managing employee perks and benefits to ensure best practice and exceptional staff retention

Handling any disciplinary processes and formal grievances

Manage and maintain the HR system (Currently SageHR)

Relevant experience in similar role

Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills.

Excellent team player

Great Attention to detail

CIPD level 5 is desirable

Salary & Package



Salary is dependent on experience

23.5 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 50,000.00-55,000.00 per year
