The Role
If you are looking for a rewarding role where no two days are same this could be the job for you. As a key member of our team you will be support the delivery of the HR service to the Council. You will get involved in every aspect of our work from recruitment and selection, payroll, issuing of contracts and associated documentation, use of systems, job evaluation and dealing with queries on our terms and conditions. It's a challenging role but one where you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your HR career.
About You!
You will have previous experience of working in a fast paced HR or learning and training position, ideally within a local government setting and have excellent customer care skills. Attention to detail is essential as are effective communication skills, both written and oral. Ideally you will have a level 3 HR diploma or equivalent or would be willing to achieve this. ICT skills, including Microsoft Office are essential.
