Job Overview
The Hut Maker is a skilled position responsible for the construction and finishing of huts using various materials and techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of carpentry and joinery, as well as the ability to work with both hand and power tools. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of hut construction, from initial design to final finishing touches, ensuring that each structure is built to high standards of quality and safety. Pay is competitive and based on experience. We are open to full time or part time working.

Select materials
that effectively and economically meet the design requirements.
Check the quality
of your work and deliver a high level of craftsmanship.
Comply with all current health and safety legislation
to ensure that staff and visitors are protected from harm.
Keep the workshop in a clean and tidy condition
to ensure an efficient, pleasant and safe working environment.

Proactively take on additional tasks
as required to help achieve workshop and company goals.
Key Skills
Experience with equipment:
Including power tools, drills, sanders, and nail guns. Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, and hammers. Strong carpentry skills with recent relevant experience .
Quality focus:
Passion for delivering outstanding quality that is the mark of a Plankbridge hut.

: Capable of managing multiple tasks and working to deadlines, efficiently.
