Holmesterne Foods is seeking an experienced and proactive Hygiene Manager to oversee hygiene standards across two food production sites: Brompton-on-Swale and Leeming Bar. You will ensure both sites maintain the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and compliance, supporting safe and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain hygiene and sanitation programs across both sites.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
Lead and manage hygiene teams at both sites, providing training, guidance, and supervision.
Collaborate with production, technical, and management teams to maintain safe and clean operations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety legislation and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and corrective actions.
Requirements:
Proven experience in hygiene management within a food production or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards.
Ability to lead and motivate teams across multiple sites.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and night shifts.
