Details of the role
You will be responsible for:
Deep cleaning of all factory machinery including, but not limited to, grading table, optical grader, uplift belts, Newtec Multihead Weighers, GIC, Checkweighers, Robot, Revolving tables, conveyor belts
Cleaning of all line machinery and preparing for next day use e.g. filling with water and correct amount of chlorine
Cleaning of floors in wash room and holding room using floor cleaners
General ad-hoc housekeeping duties as and when required e.g. pressure washing
Cleaning of factory floors including use of scrubber/dryer machine if appropriate
Cleaning of walkways/Gantries/Stairs
Hours
Full time (40 hrs per week)
Night hours
You will work a variable shift pattern across every day of the week.
Opportunity to work overtime
We will give you your rotas 3-4 weeks in advance.

About the candidate
You do not need previous experience in this kind of work as we will provide you with all the training you need. What's more important to us is that you have pride in your work, you are willing to learn and that you work hard.
You should:
Be a strong team-player
Have strong communication skills, verbal and written
Be able to follow instructions
Have good initiative
Be willing to be flexible to cover shifts across every day of the week
Be physically fit as the role involves lifting heavy loads up to 25kg and standing for long periods of time.
