Ice Rink Assistant
Job Description
To assist with the operation of a fun and festive temporary ice rink operating at Torquay's Abbey Park as part of Bay of Lights 2025 from the 6th December until 2nd January, Training days commence from The 3rd December.
Duties will include
Overseeing and management of all public safety,
Assisting with skate hire/return,
Ensuring customers safe enjoyment on the ice,
Enforcing the safety Rink Rules and undertaking general event duties
Assisting with reconditioning and resurfacing of the Ice Surface.
Reliable, bright and hard-working individuals who are focused on visitor satisfaction and who are confident in dealing with customers face to face. The successful candidates must be able to work effectively as part of a team, but also be able to work under their own initiative where required, with good communication skills. Skating experience would be an advantage but not essential.
Full training will be provided.

Pay: From 13.00 per hour
