Job Description

Responsible for: Providing skates to customers in exchange for shoes.

Responsible to: Supervisors & Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. To provide correctly fitting skates to customers in exchange for shoes.

2. To keep customer shoes safe and return correctly.

3. To assist customers in fitting skates where needed and advise on safe practices.

4. To sell skating aids and keep track of rental/return times - cash/card handling experience will be advantageous.

5. To keep the skate hire area clean, tidy and organised.

6. To be aware of any facility/product information as customers may ask you.

7. To assist staff and management with regard to any fire evacuations. (as and when required)

8. To attend your shift at all times in a well presented manner and wear the company uniform while on duty.

9. To attend any staff training sessions and meetings.

10. To complete any daily/weekly check sheets.

11. Undertake general repairs around the building.

There may be times when you are required to undertake duties and responsibilities within other departments to assist in the smooth running of the operation.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
