ICP Project Manager

Location: Remote working with occasional travel to London

Salary: Competitive

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

We are expanding our on-street charging capability and introducing a new function focused on the Independent Connection Provider (ICP) stage of delivery. We are looking for an ICP Project Manager to own and lead the ICP stage of delivery, acting as our internal subject matter expert for underground electrical connections, DNO/IDNO engagement and technical coordination.

This is a stand-out opportunity for someone with strong ICP experience who wants real ownership, visibility and the chance to help shape how a critical part of a growing EV programme is delivered without stepping away from hands-on project delivery.

What you'll do:

Take end-to-end ownership of the ICP stage of delivery for on-street EV charging installations. Manage multiple ICP projects concurrently, maintaining pace across a high-volume rollout. Oversee underground LV cable design, routing and connections, ensuring compliance with NERS, DNO and regulatory standards. Act as the primary day-to-day contact with DNOs and IDNOs, driving approvals and resolving technical issues. Review and interpret electrical designs, design packs and technical documentation. Support ICP pricing and cost control, validating quotes and tracking spend. Identify risks, constraints and dependencies (including civils), working with delivery teams to maintain throughput and SLAs. Work closely with internal planning, construction and commissioning teams to keep installations moving. Contribute to the development of ICP delivery processes and standards as this new function embeds and grows.

What you will bring:

Experience delivering ICP, utilities or electrical infrastructure projects, ideally within on-street EV charging or regulated environments. Proven experience working on high-volume installation or connection programmes. Strong understanding of underground LV connections and DNO/IDNO processes. Ability to read, interpret and challenge electrical designs and technical documentation. Organised, delivery-focused and confident working across multiple live sites.
