We are looking for a motivated and tech-curious individual to join our IT team as an IT Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in IT within a professional legal environment. You'll support the day-to-day operations of our IT systems and services, ensuring staff across the firm can work efficiently and securely.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line support for IT issues, including hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
Assist with setting up and maintaining laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
Help manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
Support onboarding and offboarding processes for new starters and leavers.
Monitor and respond to IT helpdesk tickets under the guidance of the IT Manager.
Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades and software rollouts.
Promote good cybersecurity practices and help ensure compliance with data protection policies.
What We're Looking For
A genuine interest in IT and technology.
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows is essential.
Experience with VMware, Active Directory, Windows Server, Office 365 Administration is desirable
