We're looking for a customer-focused ICT Support Technician to keep our IT systems running smoothly. You'll support users and systems at our Conference Centre in Cosham and our Engineering Training Centre in Havant. You'll be handling both proactive maintenance and reactive troubleshooting to hardware and software, as well as escalating issues to external partners as needed.
You'll report to the Head of ICT and take care of company servers, software, and security systems. Plus, you'll handle purchasing, installing, and configuring new hardware, as well as documenting system changes.
You should be good at diagnosing and fixing issues, and able to work independently. Your methodical problem-solving, task prioritization, and calm approach will add value. You'll also support visitors at our centres, so a flexible and positive attitude is essential.
You should have great interpersonal skills and be confident talking to people both on the phone and face-to-face. A strong interest and enthusiasm for all things IT is essential.

Essential Skills
To be considered for the ICT Support Technician role, you will require a passion for customer service combined with great communication skills. Our ideal candidate would have experience in a helpdesk or user support role. You will also require the following skills and qualifications:
Logical approach to problem solving
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office applications
Experience of working in a customer facing role
Full Driving License and own transport
Desirable Skills
Experience of providing technical support to users
Experience of troubleshooting IT issues
Experience of working in a helpdesk or 1st line support role
Certifications e.g. Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, CompTIA
Networking knowledge including Switches, Wireless, VLANs, Firewalls
Knowledge of, Hyper-V, Azure, Intune, Veeam, Sophos, Office 365, Power Apps
Experience installing and configuring projects, interactive TVs, amplifiers
