ICT Teacher

Salary: Competitive - MPS/UPS, depending on experience
About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking ICT Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Wolverhampton. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students with a passion for technology, digital literacy and computer science. You will play a key role in delivering an engaging and modern ICT curriculum that equips students with the skills they need in an increasingly digital world.
Role Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality ICT lessons across all Key Stages
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to support individual development.
Create a stimulating learning environment using a range of digital tools and resources.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the ICT curriculum and emerging technologies.
Support the development of students' problem-solving, coding and critical thinking skills.
Contribute to department planning and school-wide ICT initiatives.
Participate in school events, open evenings and extracurricular ICT activities or clubs.
Role Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in ICT, Computing or a related field.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for digital education and innovation.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
Commitment to continuous professional development and safeguarding practices.
