SP Energy Networks (SPEN) has kicked off an ambitious security transformation programme to transparently reduce risk, achieve compliance with NIS regulations and deliver a cyber resilient business, the Identity & Access Management Lead will be essential in achieving our goals.

This role is critical in the delivery of a central Identity and Access capability to protect the organisations applications and data. It is a part of an an active and ambitious global cyber security function, contributing to SPEN\xe2\x80\x99s cyber security purpose of delivering cyber resilient OT and IT to enable a safe and reliable electricity supply to customers.

This role will be expected to research new and specialist techniques, work cross industry, and help to shape SPEN\'s OT LAB.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing

Designing and delivering:

  • the Identity and Access Management (IdAM) mechanisms and policies for IT/OT systems.
  • A service to configure authentication and authorisation for access to IT/OT systems (including user login and application access).
Implementing a service to manage:
  • the domain controller configuration.
  • security assessments for personnel. e.g. Identification of the candidates employment history and their eligibility to gain access to the sites/systems/equipment
  • privileged access to systems.
Performing Identity and Access Management (IAM) reviews including user accesses, device and application accesses, privileged access, and wireless identity access; to ensure that all users have the correct roles and access permissions assigned.

Ensuring that the IdAM configurations are compliant with NIS-D and internal security standards.

Feed into the design of Remote Access for the network using best practice for authentication and authorisation.

Implementing the configurations for the remote access session authentication and authorisation. In addition, configuration of session lock out and termination.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring

Record of academic achievement, including some form of recognised qualification from further education, such as a degree or diploma.

Significant skills and experience in understanding at a technical level Identity and Access Management (IdAM) mechanisms, including least privileges and need-to-know principles.

Awareness of key legislation and regulation impacting IT/OT General Control requirements in an energy utility.

Previous knowledge and experience of IEC 62443 and NIS-D would be advantageous.

Good oral and written communication skills.

Must be a proven team player to work, promote and consolidate efficient team working relationships.
