Working Hours

Monday to Friday 9:30am-6:00pm

Key Duties:

Conduct comprehensive client assessments to identify their needs and challenges. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes. Managing a broad and diverse range of immigration and asylum cases and a good understanding of legal aid. Facilitate communication between clients and service providers, advocating on behalf of clients when necessary Negotiate with service providers to secure appropriate services for clients. Keeping up to date with and adhering to current immigration laws and policies. Prepare applications alongside detailed legal documentation to relevant authorities. Experience in social work or related field Proficient in case management, including file maintenance and documentation Carry out research and up to date on changes in immigration legislation and policies.?

Key Requirements:

Knowledge of current immigration laws and policies. LLB and LCP or equivalent Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain rapport with clients Ability to work independently and within a team, managing multiple clients and cases effectively. Demonstrable experience in immigration law, with a thorough understanding of Legal Aid. Knowledge of immigration law and regulations Previous experience in casework Experience in social work or related field Proficient in case management, including file maintenance Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping. Empathy and a genuine desire to help others improve their circumstances. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to think and adapt to any given situation, quickly and proficiently
Additionally, the following skills and qualifications would be beneficial for this role:

Previous experience in case management or social services is advantageous. Familiarity with the London Area, United Kingdom Fluency in multiple languages would add an advantage
