We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive and experienced Arabic Speaking Immigration Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As an Immigration Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting fee earners with immigration cases, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist fee earners in preparing and filing immigration documents and applications.
Conduct legal research related to immigration laws and regulations.
Opening files, raising bills, client care letters
Organising diaries and making appointments
General clerical work.
Draft correspondence, legal documents, and reports as required.
Maintain accurate records of case files and client information using office software.
Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress.
Organise and manage deadlines for various immigration filings to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Utilise IT tools such as Microsoft Word, Clio and Outlook for document management and communication.
Experience
Previous experience as a paralegal or in a legal support role in immigration law.
Arabic language skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
Demonstrated organisational abilities with attention to detail in managing case files and documentation.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Completed LPC/ GDL courses and looking to qualify as a solicitor.
Good communication skills including an excellent telephone manner
In addition, successful candidate will undertake reception duties providing clerical support and maintaining professional image as the first point of contact to all office visiting clients.
This role has potential to progress to training contract.
