Adam Bernard Solicitors is seeking a dedicated and experienced Immigration Solicitor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of UK immigration law, excellent client-care skills, and the ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and handle a diverse caseload of immigration matters, including but not limited to:
Spouse/partner visas
Skilled Worker and Sponsor Licence applications
ILR and Naturalisation
Asylum and Human Rights claims
Appeals and Judicial Review matters
Provide clear, accurate, and timely legal advice to clients.
Prepare applications, witness statements, legal representations, and supporting documents to a high standard.
Represent clients before the Home Office, First-tier Tribunal, and other relevant bodies where required.
Maintain accurate case records in line with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with SRA, OISC, GDPR, and firm policies.
Attend client consultations, both in-person and remotely, and manage expectations professionally.
Contribute to business development activities, including networking, marketing, and supporting the firm's growth.
Collaborate with colleagues and supervise junior staff or paralegals when necessary.
Requirements
Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate (PQE flexible; experience in immigration essential).
Strong knowledge of UK immigration and asylum law.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality legal work.
A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Desirable Skills
Experience with Tribunal advocacy.
Knowledge of business immigration and sponsor compliance.
Fluency in an additional language (advantageous but not essential).
