Immigration Solicitor
to join our growing team.
The Role
We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable
Immigration Solicitor
to handle a wide range of
personal
and
business immigration
matters. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload, providing expert advice to individuals, families, and corporate clients, while maintaining the firm's high standards of client care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Advise and represent clients in all areas of
personal immigration
, including:
Spouse, fiance(e), and partner visas
Visitor and student visas
Human rights and asylum applications
Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) and British citizenship
Appeals, administrative reviews, and judicial review matters
Handle
business immigration
cases including:
Sponsor licence applications and compliance
Skilled Worker and Global Mobility routes
Innovator Founder and Start-Up visas
Business visitor and expansion worker applications
Prepare detailed representations, application bundles, and supporting documentation.
Conduct client consultations and provide clear, accurate legal advice.
Liaise with the Home Office, UKVI, and immigration tribunals as necessary.
Manage files efficiently using
LEAP case management software
.
Keep up to date with changes in immigration law, policy, and compliance requirements.
Maintain accurate time recording and billing in line with firm policies.
Contribute to business development and client relationship management.
Key Skills & Experience
Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with
2+ years PQE
in immigration law.
Strong experience handling both
personal
and
business immigration
matters.
Excellent drafting and advocacy skills.
Deep understanding of Home Office and UKVI processes and compliance.
Confident managing complex cases and meeting deadlines.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and client-handling skills.
Proficiency in
LEAP
or other case management systems.
Commitment to maintaining the firm's high standards of professionalism and service.
Desirable
Accreditation under the
Law Society Immigration & Asylum Scheme
.
Experience in
judicial review
or
appeal advocacy
.
Proven record in
business development
and client generation.
Additional languages beneficial but not essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 34,000.00-48,000.00 per year
