As a Customs & Import Operations Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our logistics run smoothly and our import processes remain compliant and efficient. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you'll use your expertise in customs systems, freight forwarding, and supply chain management to make a real impact. Duties & Responsibilities

Manage all import and customs activities, including handling and repacking freight. Support team members with technical information and guidance as needed. Maintain and update records, databases, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Perform data entry tasks with a high level of attention to detail. Coordinate load handling and book flights for shipments. Operate office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, and printers efficiently. Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external partners. Deliver friendly and effective customer service. Work independently, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Requirements

Proven experience in freight forwarding and customs operations. Proficiency with CDS and customs systems (essential). Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping. Confident using office equipment and computer software programs. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience with transportation management systems, FDA regulations, and EDI is a plus.
