West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds 34 hours per week, 40 weeks per year - Maternity Cover Salary: 29,556 - 33,342 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience) Actual Salary: 24,347 - 27,465 per annum
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Inclusive Learning Tutor to join our Supported Learning team. In this role, you will assist students in achieving success by providing targeted support, monitoring progress, and ensuring consistent attendance and engagement. You will motivate, inspire, and encourage young people to achieve their potential, contributing to a culture of high expectations and inclusive learning for all.

The successful candidate will have experience working with and supporting young people with SEND, as well as planning and delivering interventions to help students overcome learning barriers. You will provide personalised pastoral support, coordinate with teachers, parents, and external services, and guide students in setting SMART targets to aid their development. Strong communication, organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate records are essential.
