Temporary Assignment with one of our fantastic Public Sector clients in Newport currently working until 29/03/24

Do you have an Admin background or Customer Service background and are you looking for Term Temp work for a large Public Sector Employer in Newport?
Responsibilities

  • Sort, allocate and scan all Patent/TMD paperwork.
  • (Sorting of "pigeonholes" and date stamping in applicable correspondence).
  • Performing initial formalities checks on applications in line with agreed quality criteria.
  • Quality control of scanned documents and in house records. -
  • Create a case record and history for each application filed (paper and electronic) in compliance with the Patent Rules and Acts.
  • Uploading emails/documents to various in-house systems with a follow up message to relevant working group.
  • Dealing with IT issues raising appropriate calls.
  • Forward applications to the examining group for search within 2 days of request.
  • Process general amendments within 2 working days of receipt
  • Collate and complete all statistical information accurately for use by senior management.
  • Provide user testing support for any implementations and administrative support where necessary.
  • Deal with both general and more complex queries (e-mail and telephone) from internal customers
This role will be carried out in-line with IPO Hybrid working arrangements where staff are currently expected to attend the office 1 day per week, or equivalent if part-time, on-site at our Newport office This is currently under review and may rise to up to 3 days per week in the office. You may be required to attend site for additional workshops, training and collaboration purposes.

Pay and Benefits:
