As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes, maintaining high standards of food safety, and leading kitchen operations. Your leadership skills will help inspire and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the menu specifications. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations. Maintain food safety standards and hygiene practices in the kitchen at all times. Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and innovative dishes. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained and operated safely. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in supervising a team. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food production processes. A creative mindset with the ability to develop new recipes and menu items.

Pay: Up to 33,400.00 per year
