We are seeking a talented and passionate Chefs to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with experience in food preparation and production within a restaurant environment. Experienced and skilled chefs with a passion for creating authentic and contemporary Indian cuisine, including expertise in tandoor and grilling techniques. You'll be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes from our brunch and dinner menus, maintaining kitchen standards, and contributing to our innovative small plates concept.
Duties
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen protocols.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Handle any customer feedback or complaints regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene in the kitchen.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes.
