Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service Oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met Prepare a diverse range of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and customer preferences Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and allergen controls, in compliance with legal requirements Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their culinary skills and knowledge Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times

Qualifications

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management Excellent team management and communication skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail Formal culinary qualifications or equivalent experience preferred A passion for innovative cuisine and delivering outstanding customer service
