Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training and mentoring team members Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards Coordinate food production activities to meet service deadlines and maintain consistency Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and minimise waste Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment at all times Support serving staff during busy periods to ensure excellent customer service Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal offerings

Experience

Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment Extensive food production, cooking, and food preparation expertise Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality settings Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, with a solid understanding of culinary techniques Experience in hospitality or serving roles is advantageous but not essential; a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences is crucial Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 24,000.00-30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
