Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction. Assist in food preparation as needed, following proper culinary techniques. Washing dishes and cleaning as necessary. Perform basic math calculations for order processing and bill handling. Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service during busy periods.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in a serving role. Strong understanding of hospitality principles and guest service excellence. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Basic culinary skills or kitchen experience is an advantage. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to engage with guests positively, demonstrating strong communication skills.
