We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to lead our culinary team in a dynamic hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in culinary arts, with extensive experience in hotel or restaurant management. This role requires a passion for food safety, team management, and exceptional food preparation skills to ensure the highest standards of service and quality are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily running of the takeaway and small dine-in service
Manage rotas, shifts, and performance of front and back-of-house staff
Handle customer orders, feedback, and any service issues professionally
Monitor food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
Track inventory and place orders with suppliers in a timely manner
Reconcile daily sales, cash, and delivery platform reports
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely food preparation
Update and maintain delivery platform menus and offers (Just Eat, Uber Eats, etc.)
Support and implement marketing initiatives locally and online
Prepare for and cooperate during EHO inspections and compliance checks
Requirements:
Previous experience
in managing an Indian takeaway or restaurant is essential
Valid right to work
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Knowledge of food safety standards and allergen procedures
Ability to manage peak hours calmly and effectively
Familiarity with delivery platforms and POS systems
Ability to work flexible hours - Mon to Sun - 5 PM to11 PM
