Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of Indo Chinese dishes according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is presented attractively and served at the appropriate temperature Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health and safety regulations Manage stock levels, monitor ingredient freshness, and assist with inventory control Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours Adhere to food safety standards, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Assist in menu development by suggesting new dishes or modifications based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients

Experience

Previous experience working in a professional kitchen specialising in Indo Chinese cuisine is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of traditional Indo Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients is advantageous Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team A genuine interest in culinary arts, particularly Indo Chinese cuisine, along with a willingness to learn and grow within the role

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
