We are seeking an experienced and reliable Industrial Cleaning Supervisor to oversee industrial cleaning operations across multiple sites in the Lisburn area. This is a hands-on supervisory role, requiring strong leadership skills alongside the ability to carry out physically demanding cleaning tasks.

You will be responsible for supervising cleaning teams, ensuring high standards are consistently met, and supporting day-to-day operations in fast-paced industrial environments. The role involves lifting, bending, carrying equipment and being on your feet for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Team Leadership

Supervise and support industrial cleaning operatives across multiple sites Allocate duties, monitor performance and ensure work is completed to specification Lead by example through hands-on involvement in cleaning activities Provide guidance, on-the-job training and support to team members

Deep Cleaning Operations

Carry out and oversee deep cleaning of industrial, commercial and public areas Ensure thorough cleaning of floors, machinery, washrooms and high-level surfaces Use specialist cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively

Health & Safety Compliance

Ensure full compliance with COSHH, PPE and site-specific health and safety procedures Conduct site checks and maintain a safe, hazard-free working environment Report incidents, hazards or equipment faults promptly

Equipment Use & Maintenance

Operate and oversee the correct use of scrubber dryers, vacuums and pressure washers Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order Report faults and arrange replacements or repairs as required

Operational Support

Travel between sites as required to support operations Communicate effectively with management and clients when necessary Assist with stock control and ordering of cleaning supplies
Essential Criteria

Previous industrial cleaning / Hygiene supervisory experience (essential) Full UK driving licence (essential) Ability to work independently and use initiative Strong organisational and leadership skills Reliable, punctual and physically capable of carrying out manual work Excellent attention to detail
Desirable Criteria

IPAF qualification (preferred)
