About the Role:

To lead, organise and supervise industrial cleaning operatives and subcontractors

Main Duties:

Ensure all Health & Safety procedures and company policies are followed. Supervise staff and contractors to deliver work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Liaise with clients and maintain clear communication across all site activities. Manage site resources, vehicles, and equipment responsibly. Keep accurate daily records and ensure compliance documentation is maintained. Lead, support, and develop team members to achieve strong performance. Promote continuous improvement and report all incidents or concerns promptly. Carry out additional duties as required by management. Understand, communicate, and distribute all official work instructions (Permits to Work, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Procedures, COSHH Assessments, and Toolbox Talks) to ensure all tasks are carried out safely and in compliance with company standards.

Critical Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Prior to Employment

:

Working at Height Qualification Confined Space Entry Qualification High Pressure Water Jetting Qualification Proven experience managing operatives or site teams Competent user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong communication skills at all levels, including with clients and senior management Natural leadership ability with a focus on motivating and developing others Proactive problem solver with strong initiative and decision-making skills Experience within industrial cleaning, waste management, or similar environments Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and site documentation (RAMS, Permits to Work, etc.)
