to join our Fabrication Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and painting steel components to meet quality and durability standards. This role is critical in ensuring that fabricated steel products are protected from corrosion and meet client specifications.
Responsibilities
Prepare steel surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and applying primers.
Apply industrial coatings such as primers and gloss using spray guns, rollers, or brushes.
Inspect finished surfaces for quality, thickness, and uniformity.
Maintain painting equipment and ensure proper storage of materials.
Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Collaborate with fabrication teams to ensure timely delivery of painted products.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
Experience

Proven experience as a painter, preferably in steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing.
Forklift licence (preferred but not essential - training can be provided)
Familiarity with various painting techniques and coating systems.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive attitude, and willingness to help
Physically fit and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
