About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Industrial Painter
to join our refurbishment team based inBlantyre
. The role involves preparing and painting a wide range of industrial machinery and components as part of our ongoing refurbishment projects.Key Responsibilities
Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and cleaning Applying primers, undercoats, and topcoats to machinery and components Using spray-painting equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently Ensuring a high-quality finish and attention to detail on all refurbished equipment Maintaining a clean and organised working environment Following all health, safety, and environmental regulations
Requirements
Proven experience as an industrial or spray painter (machinery or heavy plant preferred) Knowledge of paint types, surface preparation, and finishing techniques Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 18.00-22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 39 per week
Work Location: In person
