As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for an Industrial Placement Student to join our Analytical team at Rawcliffe Bridge, East Yorkshire 12 months from August 2026 to August 2027.



The main purpose of this role is to complete project work and assist senior scientists in the areas of analytical chemistry and process development. Duties will involve practical laboratory work and report writing. The project work carried out during the placement will be of sufficient academic complexity to meet the requirements of a university industrial placement degree course.

You will have an A Level in Chemistry and be working towards a 2.1 or above in a Chemistry related degree. You should also have good laboratory skills and be able to communicate effectively both in reports and verbally. You will need to be a self-motivated individual with the ability to manage and plan your own workload.
Team work, attention to detail and good problem analysis skill are essential for this role.

What You'll Be Doing:

Be part of a team that values diversity, sustainability, and continuous innovation, where your ideas and contributions matter.



You will be taught to use sophisticated analytical Instruments such as LCMS, GCMSMS, Spectroscopy (FTIR, RAMAN, NIR) and MALDI. Learn how to develop analytical methods and how to validate them. Gain an understanding of data analysis, perform some routine analytical testing, interpret data, and reporting any findings.
Complete an analytical project to meet the requirements of the University you are attending.
