ATS Euromaster is investing in the future of automotive talent. We are now recruiting current college students (aged 16-18) enrolled in an IMI Level 2 or IMI Level 3 for a hands-on, part-time position to join our Carmarthen centre. This role is specifically for ambitious students looking to develop their professional skills alongside their academic studies.

Salary: 25,465.18 per annum (pro rata)

The Role:

Join our team for 8 - 16 hours per week, flexing up during holiday periods, to deliver essential fast-fit services. You will work alongside our expert Technicians, putting your college learning into action. This role is designed to give you a meaningful industry placement experience, supporting your qualification and building your practical skills.

Responsibilities will include:

Assisting with tyre replacement and puncture repair on car and van tyres. Supporting Technicians with wheel balancing and wheel alignment (tracking) tasks. Learning to conduct detailed tyre inspections and assisting with Digital Vehicle Health Checks (DVHC). Adhering strictly to all Health & Safety procedures and contributing to a safe work environment. Ensuring the workshop is kept tidy, clean, and organised. Developing skills in diagnosing basic vehicle issues and learning to communicate maintenance needs.

Requirements as a Trainee Technician:

Currently enrolled and actively completing a Motor Vehicle qualification (IMI Level 2 or 3). A full UK Driving Licence is preferred but not essential. Commitment to working approximately 8 hours per week, with flexibility to increase hours during college holidays. A strong eagerness to learn, a high regard for safety, and a dedication to quality work.
