Kickstart your IT career with an Information Communications Technician (Level 3) apprenticeship at our small and successful IT Business, where you will be able to learn plenty whilst helping lots of companies across Devon & Cornwall with technical support.
The key to your success is your ability to roll up your sleeves and find a solution whilst always ensuring excellent customer service.
You will have a range of duties and responsibilities assisted by our experienced and friendly team, you will be expected to work both with supervision and independently. You will be involved in resolving routine ICT issues and contributing to new installations and projects.
Daily duties will include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:
Support end users via telephone, helpdesk ticket system and email, accurately recording requests and actions
Respond to and either resolve or escalate requests
Problem solving and workflow management
Assist with workshop repairs, upgrades, new system builds and configurations
Cabling and connectivity installations (after appropriate training)
Carrying out any ad hoc requests with accuracy and professionalism
To meet all learning commitments of the apprenticeship
About You
You should have a pleasant and approachable personality, as this is a customer service role. The ability to multitask and prioritise workload in a timely and effective manner whilst under pressure are essential for this position. You may be required to complete field work from time to time within the Devon and Cornwall area, transport will be provided from, and returning to our Holsworthy base.
