Are you experienced on information governance in public bodies?

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our small and friendly Audit and Information Governance team as Information Governance Officer.
In this role, you will be responsible for administering information requests, including Freedom of Information Requests, Subject Access Requests (SARs) and requests under the Environmental Information Regulations (EIRs).
You will also support the Audit and Information Governance Manager with Data Protection compliance.

Have experience of dealing with information requests in a public sector environment.
Have experience of providing information governance support, and compliance with data protection regulations.
Have high level of accuracy and methodical attention to detail.
Always respect and maintain confidentiality.
Possess an information governance qualification and/or information governance experience.
Are a team player but able to work independently when required.
Have knowledge and experience of M365 systems, including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams.
Are self-motivated and a confident communicator.
