Infrastructure Architect

Contract - Fully Remote

Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure Architecture, this role will be responsible for pre-sales SME support, infrastructure design, implementation, and handover to operations of solutions. The role requires an individual to support in the assessment and remediation of cyber vulnerabilities, this will require a good understanding of best practice security principle and how to obtain them. A combination of analysis, design, and implementation skill sets are desired.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Build secure solutions, writing requirements, testing and delivery. This includes working across both new and Legacy systems, across a mixture of client and internal technical projects to support the wider business with their everyday functions.
• Both lead and contribute to storyboarding and brainstorming exercises, and run scoping and design meetings or conference calls with clients.
• Validate/QA technical solutions before handing over to client, including production of test plans and guidance to other departments on test methodologies.
• Delivery of all technology and system related Client KPI\'s to support future business growth and assure Client longevity.
• Deliver cost and infrastructure architecture to agreed objectives and to meet cost and quality outcome.

• 10 years (+) experience in IT with much of it in infrastructure design and delivery.
• AWS skills (lend of design and implementation).
• Extensive knowledge of networks, telephony, security, domain, EUC, and application services.
• Demonstrable knowledge in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, with associated supporting qualifications preferred.
• Good communication skills and customer facing skills, ability to communicate complex ideas simply at all levels of the organisation including on occasion to Executive stakeholders.
