About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Infrastructure Manager to lead and evolve our global infrastructure landscape. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small to mid-sized enterprise environment (3,000-5,000 users), understands the full spectrum of infrastructure technologies, and is a strong leader with a proven ability to guide teams through ambiguity and change.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Leadership: Own and manage all infrastructure towers (Compute, Storage, Networking, Cloud, Endpoints, Security, Backup, Identity, etc.) with a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on involvement. Cloud & Azure Expertise: Lead cloud infrastructure operations and transformation with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure, including Azure networking, serverless architecture, RBAC, Identity Provider (IDP) solutions, cost governance, and cloud security controls. Security Operations: Oversee Layer 7 firewalls, email gateways, endpoint security solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike), and patch management. Ensure all systems adhere to cybersecurity best practices. Compliance & Governance: Lead and maintain compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 1, and SOC 2. Work closely with auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure continuous compliance readiness. Change & Configuration Management: Champion and enforce effective Change Management and Configuration Management procedures to minimize risk and ensure continuity. Architectural Oversight: Implement and maintain standardized Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (e.g., TOGAF or similar). Ensure alignment of infrastructure with overall business goals and technology strategy. Technical Leadership: Serve as the go-to escalation point for complex technical issues. Guide cross-functional teams to resolution, especially in ambiguous or high-pressure situations. Collaboration & Influence: Work closely with department heads across IT, Applications, Security, and Business Units to align infrastructure initiatives with organizational goals. Documentation & Communication: Ensure consistent, thorough documentation of infrastructure, procedures, and policies. Promote a knowledge-sharing culture within the team. Team Management: Lead a team of cross-functional infrastructure professionals from diverse technical and cultural backgrounds in a fast-paced environment. Coach, mentor, and support their growth.

Required Skills & Experience

15+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure roles, with 8+ years in managerial or leadership capacity Proven track record in organizations with 3,000-5,000 users Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including networking, serverless designs, cost optimization, and cloud security Strong understanding of enterprise-grade firewall solutions (Layer 7), email gateways, and EDR tools like CrowdStrike Experience leading successful ISO 27001 and SOC1/SOC2 audits and ongoing governance efforts Solid knowledge of ITIL, change control, and operational documentation practices Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture standards and frameworks Demonstrated ability to lead infrastructure teams through ambiguity and complex problem-solving Excellent interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional, multicultural teams Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Preferred Certifications (not mandatory)


Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) ITIL v4 Certification TOGAF Certification Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or similar ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor
