We have an exciting opportunity for a Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our team.


Hours



The site currently offers Monday - Friday; core office hours


Salary



This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to 45,000 per annum - depending on experience.


Location


Office based with some flexibility - Brunel Court, Colchester Business Park, Colchester, Essex.

What you'll be doing




As a Infrastructure Support Engineer, your responsibilities will vary. You will

Build, configure and support Windows Server estate Active Directory Management - User / Groups, DNS, GPOs Microsoft 365 Support and Administration - Exchange, SharePoint, Teams and One Drive Entra ID Support and Administration - Hybrid Environment Cisco Networking Knowledge - Layer 2 (switch setup and configuration) and Layer 3 Azure IAAS Setup and configuration Endpoint Management - Asset / Configuration Management, Software Deployment, Patching Actively partake in project work and tasks as and when required. Partake in on-call rota, one week in four.

Qualifications required





Customer focused Analytical approach with close attention to detail Understanding of ITIL principles and comprehensive knowledge of internal processes Previous experience of working in a Service Desk Environment Technical Skills - VMware vSphere, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, CISCO Switching & Routing (and more, please refer to JD) * Understanding of ITIL principles and comprehensive knowledge of internal processes
