Are you ready to make a real impact through research and innovation? Teesside University is offering an exciting opportunity for talented individuals to join our team as Innovation Fellows, working at the forefront of industry collaboration and regional transformation.



As a key partner in the Tees Valley Investment Zone, Teesside University is leading the research and innovation workstream, as part of a 160 million,10-year investment into the digital and creative sectors. We are seeking two Innovation Fellows to help drive this ambitious agenda forward.



About the Role





Innovation Fellows will work directly with businesses across the Tees Valley to identify challenges and opportunities that can be addressed through innovation. You'll be deployed on short-term (3-6 month) business-led projects, applying your expertise to explore solutions, propose next steps, and develop routes to market or further research.



This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll use your technical knowledge and creative thinking to help businesses innovate, adapt, and grow.



What We're Looking For





We welcome applications from individuals with expertise in areas such as

Artificial Intelligence Games Development Data Science Film and TV Production Cyber Security Immersive Technologies Internet of Things (IoT)


You'll be resilient, adaptable, and collaborative, with a passion for applying research to real-world challenges. Applicants must hold a PhD in a relevant discipline and have recent research experience, ideally involving collaboration with industry or applied innovation.
