Walker Brothers is a proud British engineering company working in metal, wood and plastics to create brilliant retail displays. Our products can be found on high streets across the UK. Founded in 1959, we have thrived under stable family ownership. Today the business is entering a new phase of growth, and we want this role to help drive it.

We are looking for someone to take ownership of our Engineering function, with scope to own more as the role evolves. An Innovation Manager or Technical Manager or Engineering Manager who will work alongside the Managing Director and make sure that every project is prepared to the highest standards before it reaches production. You can have unparalleled freedom in writing your job description and job title, so long as you drive our business forward.

This is a role with real freedom: the chance to shape how engineering and production is run, to build on the skills of our engineers and designers, and to improve the way projects flow through the business. You may bring varied skills, and we are open to shaping the role around the strengths you bring.

Today you will lead a small but capable team. Tomorrow you could be building a department, introducing new ideas, and growing into a Technical Director role as the company expands.

Pay: 34,000.00-55,000.00 per year
