Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Inspections engineer/mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a foundation in plant machinery, engineering and mechanics, with the ability to diagnose, repair and inspect a variety of machinery and equipment. This role requires a full UK driving license, a work vehicle will be provided, The engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. Salary will be based on experience, however full training will be provided.

Duties

- Carryout 6 & 12 month LOLER and PUWER inspections nationwide on plant machinery and equipment.

- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on plant machinery and equipment.

- Diagnose faults in machinery using appropriate testing equipment and techniques.

- Assemble and disassemble components as necessary for repairs or upgrades.

- Interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues within machinery.

- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in engineering and mechanics.

- Full UK Driving License

- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.

- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
