The Aircraft Component Inspector is responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating aircraft components and parts to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, manufacturer specifications, and company compliance and safety procedures. The inspector plays a critical role in maintaining safety, reliability, and airworthiness in aviation operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed inspections of aircraft components including mechanical & interior components.
Interpret and apply technical data from maintenance manuals, service bulletins, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Verify conformity of parts regulatory agency requirements.
Document inspection results and complete required forms such as work orders, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports.
Identify defective or non-conforming parts and recommend corrective actions or repairs.
Ensure proper tagging, traceability, and segregation of serviceable and unserviceable components.
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other maintenance personnel to resolve technical issues.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance or component inspection.
Knowledge of aviation industry regulations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical documents.
Proficiency with inspection tools and equipment.
Computer literacy with maintenance tracking systems.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
