Duties

Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations. Diagnosing electrical faults using hand tools and power tools, then executing effective repairs or replacements. Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to plan electrical installations. Conducting routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate. Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with health and safety legislation. Collaborating with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects on time and within budget. Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used for each project.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures. Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws. Demonstrable electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex problems efficiently. Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are highly desirable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to read technical diagrams accurately. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards at all times. Valid UK driving licence is preferred for mobility between sites.
