As our renewables team continues to grow, we are looking for a skilled Renewable Electrician to join us.
The Role
We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our growing renewables team. While experience in renewable technologies is desirable, full training will be provided for the right candidate. You will play a key role in maintaining RI Cruden's high standards of quality, professionalism and innovation.
You will play a key role in delivering renewable electrical projects, combining strong technical expertise with a professional, customer-focused approach. Working across domestic and commercial sites, you will install, commission and maintain low-carbon technologies, supporting projects from initial installation through to handover and ongoing performance. The role offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to work on technically interesting projects across the Highlands and beyond.
48 hours per week (plus overtime)
Key Responsibilities
Install, test and commission solar PV & battery storage systems
Install, test and commission all types of heating and heat pump systems
Install EV charging points (domestic and commercial)
Complete electrical installations to company standards and current regulations
Fault find, maintain and carry out remedial works on renewable systems
Diagnose and resolve on-site electrical issues
Work safely in line with company procedures and H&S requirements
Support and mentor apprentices and junior engineers.
About You
In order to be successful within this role, the following experience and skills are required;
Essential experience:
18th Edition
SVQ level 3 electrical installations or equivalent
Current ECS Gold Card
Driving License
Desirable:
2391 Inspection and Testing
IPAF
BPEC Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Solar Photovoltaic Systems (or equivalent)
BPEC Level 3 Award in Electrical Energy Storage Systems (EESS)
EV charge point installation experience (domestic and/or commercial)
Hands-on experience with solar PV, battery storage, EV chargers and low-carbon heating systems (such as heat pumps)
Experience working on renewable or low-carbon energy projects
(Training will be provided for the right candidate who demonstrates the right attitude and potential.)

Pay: 50,000.00-65,000.00 per year
