Job Description

The Shading Company, previously known as Carmarthen and Pembrokeshire Blinds are a local, family run business in need of a new installer to join our small but perfectly formed team.

This is a full time position - Hours are 8.30am - 4.30pm (Monday to Friday)

The job involves visiting customers homes to provide an installation service for the products we supply, these include Roller Blinds, Roman Blinds, Venetian Blinds, Vertical Blinds, Internal/Plantation Shutters, External Awnings and Curtain Poles and Curtains.

In time you would be out working on your own so we are looking for someone that is reliable, trustworthy and self motivated, along with having good customer facing skills.

Experience and confidence in using power tools is required, along with a full clean UK driving license. Experience in the blinds trade is preferred but applicants who have a similar or relevant trade experience or can demonstrate competent skills with tools and fixings would be considered (Carpentry, Window or Kitchen Fitting). Full product training will be provided.

Happy to consider people on an employed basis (full time or part time hours) or self employed individuals.

The role would be based out of our Carmarthen office although you are likely to be travelling all over Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire on a daily basis

Pay: 24,000.00-35,000.00 per year
