Decking Installations Warehouse Operative

to join our Scunthorpe-based team, supporting warehousing and logistics operations in collaboration with our sales and installation departments.


Key Responsibilities




Manage and prepare decking "pre-build/kits" based on site surveys and installation plans. Monitor, maintain, and record stock movements accurately across multiple sites. Coordinate workflows within the warehouse and workshop teams to meet installation schedules. Fabricate and prep decking components for timely dispatch. Communicate effectively with fitting teams, Operations Coordinators, and relevant stakeholders regarding product readiness and order changes. Oversee stock forecasting, reporting, and control of goods in/out processes. Implement and maintain workshop and warehouse procedures to ensure efficiency and security. Identify product rejections and report associated causes and costs. Conduct routine maintenance of tools and machinery both on and off site. Uphold health and safety, cleanliness, and security standards in all areas of work. Support the Planning & Logistics Supervisor with process reviews and continuous improvements. Perform any additional reasonable duties to support the operations. Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required.

Essential Skills & Attributes




Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical plans. Sound knowledge of warehousing and logistics operations. Self-motivated with a proactive, can-do attitude. Trustworthy and dependable team player. Basic fabrication or construction skills (preferred but not essential--training provided).
