We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to develop innovative and engaging elearning solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of educational theory, instructional design principles, and e-learning methodologies. You will design and develop blended learning experiences that integrate rapid learning authoring tools, and cutting-edge instructional strategies.A key focus of this role will be developing elearning Health and Safety training materials, ensuring compliance with industry regulations while maintaining a learner-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement blended learning and e-learning solutions that enhance learner engagement and retention. Apply instructional design theories and adult learning principles to create high-quality learning experiences. Develop course content using rapid learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms. Manage content creation and administration within our Learning Management Systems (LMS). Work collaboratively with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and structure course materials. Ensure instructional materials align with best practices in formal and informal learning methodologies. Evaluate and refine learning solutions based on learner feedback and performance data.

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong knowledge of educational theory and instructional design principles. Experience developing blended learning and e-learning solutions for diverse learners. Practical know-how in VLE/LMS content creation and management. Proficiency in rapid learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia). Experience working in a materials development environment, preferably related to online and blended learning. Strong understanding of Health and Safety training requirements and compliance. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality content within tight deadlines. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable Skills

Experience with microlearning, and adaptive learning techniques. Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, and other e-learning standards. Familiarity with video production and multimedia content creation. Understanding of accessibility and inclusivity standards in e-learning.
