We have an exciting opportunity for an Instructor Demonstrator Assessor in Catering to join our Catering team. This is a fantastic chance to help shape the next generation of Catering professionals while contributing to a vibrant and dynamic academic community.

What You'll Be Doing:

As an Instructor Demonstrator Assessor in Catering, you will:


Provide support to lecturing staff in the delivery of competence-based skills in accordance with standards set by external bodies. Facilitate training, demonstrations, assessments, and support for students participating in competence-based or skills-based learning programmes. Assist individual students or trainees in developing personalised learning plans to achieve their goals and meet externally defined standards. Ensure the maintenance of learning resources and equipment utilised in the learning programme, reporting any faults or necessary repairs to the appropriate technician or manager. Collaborate with teaching and administrative staff to support the student application and enrolment processes. Offer guidance to students engaged in learning programmes, including conducting one-to-one tutorials.

What We're Looking For:

We seek candidates who:


Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Catering. Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English or an equivalent qualification. A commitment to undertake any mandatory training relevant to the role. Assessor and Verifier Awards - Desirable. First Aid qualification - Desirable.
