One Broker (part of the Jensten Group) are pleased to be recruiting an Insurance Administrator for our successful Personal Lines team in Cambridge.


Our friendly Personal Lines team is made up of 11 colleagues, that sit in a wider broking office of 40 + people. This is a key role that focusses on providing the day-to-day administrative support to Account Handlers and Management.


This role could suit someone who is either keen to establish a career as a professional administrator, or someone looking to grow a rewarding insurance broking career.


Initially working full time in the office, a blend of office and home working will be available on completion of probation.

Key objectives & responsibilities will include:

Managing own diary, emails and workload Assisting the team with varying admin and ad-hoc administrative duties Liaising directly with clients via email and phone regarding policy renewal instructions, receipts, payments and confirmations Liaising with Insurers to chase quotes Renewing policies on Acturis and insurer portals Ordering stationery and office supplies Printing documentation and franking post

About You

As an Insurance Administrator, you will need to have strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills. You will also need to have a good telephone manner and the confidence to liaise with people at all levels.


Other skills/requirements:

Previous experience within an office environment A good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Good level of written and verbal communication skills Good diary /workload management skills The desire to provide an efficient administrative service to your colleagues and customers
