Job Description

We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our office. we are a small family run company who provides insurance cover for a wide range of classic and vintage vehicles, private everyday cars and lorries.

Your job role would include customer facing tasks such as dealing with enquiries over the phone and via email, taking quote details, calculating quotes, processing new business/renewals and adjustments. High attention to detail and good retention of information is essential.

Given the nature of our business we are not able to support working from home.

Salary would be dependant on experience.

Key Tasks

Answering the phone, dealing with customer queries, communicating with the underwriters. Writing policies.

Dealing with customer requests in line with company guidelines and policy coverage. Providing clear and correct information. Able to handle customer information in line with GDPR guidelines.

Referring risks to the underwriters when applicable and dealing with any of their requests.

You will be responsible for issuing documentation correctly to customers.

Supporting the department in administration duties and complete all supporting documentation in a timely, accurate and compliant manner.

Cleaning your own workstation

Ensuring compliance with the requirements of the firm's own procedures and FCA regulations.

Our Ideal Applicant would have

Experience within the insurance industry. Excellent attention to detail and retention of information. The ability to learn on the job. Good basic computer skills as your role would be heavily computer based. Excellent communication skills to ensure that we are clear and concise in the information provided along with a good telephone manner. An interest in motor vehicles.
Interviews will take place at our office between the dates 8th October 2025 to 15th October 2025.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 23,800.00-31,000.00 per year
